APRIL-MAY "HIGHLIGHTS OF KOREA & MAY DAY FESTIVAL" TOUR
This comprehensive tour is recommended for those interested in an in-depth overview of Korea, both South and North, including the May Day Festival. It is open to all nationalities except South Korean citizens (for whom there is a separate North Korean host organization).
ROUTING: (Own air to) Seoul, South Korea; (Own air to) Beijing, China; (Group air to) Pyongyang, Nampo, Kaesong, Panmunjom, Myohyang, Pyongyang, North Korea; (Group air to) Beijing, China; (Own air to home).
SIGHTSEEING will include the highlights of Seoul and North Korea, including the May Day Festival. This carefully planned tour includes 8 days in North Korea.
The tour is scheduled to be escorted by Walter L. Keats, a Korea expert and an experienced tour leader who has visited South Korea 30 times since 1972, and North Korea 20 times since 1995.
PRICE: US$4,051 per person based on double occupancy (see itinerary for details); single supplement $790. In addition to all expenses in North Korea and most expenses in China (per the itinerary), the tour price includes coach airfare from Beijing to Pyongyang, and Pyongyang to Beijing. It does not include inbound airfare to Seoul, airfare from Seoul to Beijing (best included in one's international initial arrival and departure airfare), or outbound from Beijing at the conclusion of the tour. Optional pre- and post- travel plans to South Korea, China, Japan, Mongolia and other East Asian destinations can also be arranged utilizing Asia Pacific Travel's over 30 years experience designing custom travel to East Asia.
RESERVATIONS: must be made by April 2nd to allow time for DPRK group visa processing.
Tour participants must join the group in Seoul by Saturday evening, April 24th. The tour begins in Seoul and ends in Beijing.
