JULY "NORTH KOREA IN FOCUS & ARIRANG PERFORMANCE" TOUR
This focused tour is recommended for those interested in an in-depth overview of North Korea, plus the Chinese gateway of Dandong. It is open to all nationalities except South Korean citizens (for whom there is a separate North Korean host organization).
ROUTING: (Own air to) Beijing, China; (Group air to) Pyongyang, Nampo, Kaesong, Panmunjom, Myohyang, Pyongyang, North Korea; (Group air to) Shenyang, (Group train to) Dandong, (Group air to) Beijing, China; (Own air home).
SIGHTSEEING will include the highlights of North Korea and an amazing Arirang Mass Performance. This carefully planned tour includes 8 days in North Korea.
The tour is scheduled to be escorted by Walter L. Keats, a North Korea expert and an experienced tour leader who has visited North Korea 20 times since 1995.
PRICE: US$3,879 per person based on double occupancy (see itinerary for details); single supplement $720. In addition to all expenses in North Korea and most expenses in China (per the itinerary), the tour price includes coach airfare from Beijing to Pyongyang, Pyongyang to Shenyang, soft seat train from Shenyang to Dandong, and coach airfare from Dandong to Beijing. It does not include inbound or outbound airfare from Beijing at the beginning and conclusion of the tour. Optional pre- and post- travel plans to South Korea, China, Japan, Mongolia and other East Asian destinations can also be arranged utilizing Asia Pacific Travel's over 30 years experience designing custom travel to East Asia.
RESERVATIONS: must be made by Friday, June 11th to allow time for DPRK group visa processing.
Tour participants must join the group in Beijing by Thursday evening, July 8th. The tour begins and ends in Beijing.
